Below are a list of hints for you to help yourself (and us!) when it comes to your move.

These are just a guide however and if you have absolutely any questions whatsoever, don't hesitate to contact us.

Some Packing Tips

-The more complete your packing, the quicker we can get you moved and the less the cost is to you. Ensure everything you possibly can is packed away.

-Don't over-fill large boxes as they may require two men to carry them increasing the time it takes.

-If you have anything particularly valuable to you, make sure it is bubble wrapped and packed securely.

-The guys will have tools on board the van but anything that can be disassembled should be to speed up your move.

-We will normally load boxes first, followed by large furniture, then fragile/ electrical items.

-Aside from packing itself, the parking situation is vital. Being able to park as close as possible at both ends minimises the strain on the guys and speeds up your move immeasurably. You can contact your council to suspend bays or yellow lines (for an average move/relocation the 20mins loading time is insufficient). If you have parking for yourself, parking your car outside allowing us to take that spot is another way of helping here. These parking tips are especially important for larger moves. Smaller moves, pick ups and drop offs, we can normally improvise. We have experienced most parking scenarios before.
